Kellen is a filmmaker with over 18 years of professional experience. His specialty is working within unscripted and documentary genres of TV & film. The industry has taken him worldwide, and he’s gravitated towards a large focus on sports and music storytelling, both of which have helped open the doors to commercial campaign work.

While attending Arizona State University, his student thesis documentary won an Emmy Award for Best Student Production. SINCE 2006, He’s been directing and producing videos beginning his career with MTV Networks IN NYC.

In 2014, he founded Shoot To Kill NYC, a boutique production company.

He’s currently working as the Executive Producer on an original streaming documentary series for LG & the NCAA 'The Rivalries' focusing on lesser-known college sports rivalries. He is also directing a feature-length documentary 'Land of the Rising Mic' which tells the history of hip-hop culture in Japan.

Kellen currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
