KELLEN DENGLER

Kellen is an award-winning filmmaker with over 15 years of experience working in television and digital media. He focuses on documentary and unscripted storytelling, with a passion for sports and music. His career has taken him around the world and led to work on a range of high-profile commercial campaigns.

While studying media production at Arizona State University, his student thesis documentary won an Emmy Award for Best Student Production. He began his career in 2006 at MTV Networks in New York City, where he got his start producing and went from there.

In 2014, he founded Shoot To Kill NYC, a boutique full-service production company, where he serves as Executive Creative Producer.

He’s currently directing and co-producing an independent documentary series, Land of the Rising Mic, exploring the history of hip-hop culture in Japan.

Kellen lives in Los Angeles, CA, with his wife and two sons.
