Since 1890, DePauw University and Wabash College have clashed in the Monon Bell Classic: one of college football’s most storied rivalries. At the center of this tradition is a 300-pound locomotive bell, which serves as the game’s coveted trophy—and the subject of some of the most audacious and unforgettable heists in NCAA history.

This year, legendary Wabash coach Don Morel prepares for the last game of his career, facing coach Brett Dietz and one of the best teams in DePauw University’s history. With tradition and legacy on the line, this year’s battle for the Bell promises to be a defining chapter in this celebrated rivalry.
